Description

Cyril Ritchard--Captain Hook to Mary Martin's Peter Pan in the classic TV rendering of that famous children's book--charms again as the narrator of Alice in Wonderland, CL Dodgson's great nonsense novel. Original score by Alec Wilder played by the NY String Quartet with percussion.

Pressed in 1960, as scratched into the vinyl, and recorded in 1957 this special set was issued for at least 20 years as it was available new from the publisher (Crown) in 1975 when I worked for Brentano's.

We noted that one of the corners that is peeling has separated inside--not visible in the pictures and it was by lucky chance we caught it at the last minute.

Second of two sets bought at estate auction of an antique dealer.
