Description

Self-titled LP from Marian Varga & Collegium Musicum re-released by Opus (91 16 0446) in 1977. Czechoslovakian pressing. Second pressing of this behind the Iron Curtain gem that was first released the year before (1976) this repress. All-instrumental progressive symphonic rock recorded live with all five tracks appearing exclusively on this album (two are rock interpretations of classical themes, three are originals). This four piece band featured the best in Czech rock musicianship with Marian Varga showcasing his excellence on Hammond organ and piano. Unique sound that gets compared to ELP but certainly with a style all their own. Back cover has song titles, band credits and liner notes in Slovak, German and English.

Labels are in EXCELLENT condition. Vinyl record is in EXCELLENT condition with nice luster and a few very light surface marks. Plays with some light, sporadic surface tics...sounds great! Thin cardboard cover is in VERY GOOD+ condition with wear at corners, edgewear, some light creasing and some surface wear...no splits or writing.
All vinyl albums are shipped in protective cardboard mailers with cardboard flats and bubble wrap for safe shipping.
