Record Label: Reference Recordings RR12

An established audiophile classic for its thrilling, nearly overpowering sonics, this percussion-based journey to the mythical country DAFOS features Grateful Dead drummer, Mickey Hart, Brazilian percussionist Airto Moreira and vocalist Flora Purim.

For over 30 years Reference Recordings have been making some of the greatest sounding recordings on Earth. Engineer Prof. Keith O. Johnson, renowned for his more than 50 pioneering years of recording and equipment design, has always been at the forefront of high-resolution audio. He has engineered nearly 150 classical and jazz albums, including seven that have been nominated for and two that have won Grammys for Best Engineered Classical Recording.

Record is used and in NM/NM condition. Record jacket looks as new. Corners are sharp, colors vibrant and spine is straight. Vinyl is glossy and shiny to the eye. Plays beautifully.

Review: This is a wonderful "soundscapes" album with many great songs and the sound is superb. It was recorded at the Japan Center Theater in San Francisco without an audience and it really does capture the sound of the room well. ~ Amazon
