Description
This is a NEAR MINT copy of the TAS Vinyl Super Disc DAFOS (Reference Recordings RR-12) featuring ex-Grateful Dead drummer Mickey Hart, Airto and Flora Purim. It is an all analogue recording engineered by Professor Keith Johnson. Along with being a spectacular audiophile recording, its claim to fame is a moment during the recording session where a large drum is dropped, resulting in a resounding and startling "thud" and subterranean bass frequencies that will push an audio system to the max.
The record is in the original plastic mylar jacket sleeve and audiophile inner sleeve. The record itself is in near mint condition, with no visible scratches or warping. The record has been lovingly cared for and has its original sheen. As with most records, occasional pops or ticks are possible. The record was played infrequently on an audiophile system. (I am the original owner). The gatefold jacket is near perfect, with no significant wear, bends or corner damage. I pack records of this quality carefully, using bubble pack, reinforced cardboard corners, and sandwiched between oversized sheets of cardboard, with grain direction rotated to add to rigidity.
Buyer pays shipping and insurance via USPS Media Mail in the US and Priority International for all other countries.
