What a record. Definitely the holy grail of Aussie rockabilly singles. If you include in the

 criteria that no cover versions/songs written by other people etc are allowed, he wrote both

 sides of this himself. He came from nowhere and the mystery of who he

was has, as far as I know, never been solved. The (b) side is hauntingly powerful rockabilly.

The (a) side you can stack up againstother worthy contenders of Oz rockabilly greatness

(eg Bix Bryant and the Raiders, Billy Owens and the Thunderbirds etc –

tho there aren’t many that rise to the above criteria) and  this is the best of them all.

If you want to test this- Google the (a) side  (tho the single sounds about twice as good)
