Description
In this APGA (Association Phonique des Grands Artistes) record made in 1906 or 1907,
Alfred D’Ambrosio plays his own composition:
Violon Solo “Canzonetta” number 150 187 (printed on label and engraved on the disk)
Violon Solo “Mazurka” number 150 188 (printed on label and engraved on the disk)
Both sides announced.
Alfred D’Ambrosio was born in Naples in 1871 and died in Nice in 1914. He was a composer and a violinist.
As for most APGA records, playing surface has marks but is still playable with quite a lot of surface noise. This disk is old, used and surface is duller than it appears on the scans.
