Description
I have access to 100's of rock records and memorabilia. Most of this stuff belonged to my brother from his press agency days and hasn't seen the light of day for 20 - 30 years - includes loads of signed records and other cool stuff. A lot of the records have never been played and some are still sealed in shrinkwrap. More classic to come so keep checking my listings every week!
A real obscurity this and I've never seen another one! The disc is an original 1977 press on the Stiff label BUY 10 with gothic Damned text. Written in the run-out grooves a.side: a porky prime cut, BUY 10 A1, EG, b.side: this is your captain squeeking, BUY 10 B1, EG. In with the disc is a 7" x 7" glossy picture card which has been stamped on the front and back: STIFF BUY10 NOT FOR SALE, the stamp on the glossy side has worn away over the years but is still very clear on the back of the card, the b.side label is also stamped and on the a.side label is a small sticker with the number 32 printed on it (don't know if this has any relevence or not). As I said I have never seen another one of these and the only thing I can think of is that this was sent in early for review purposes before the actual picture sleeves were printed, the card is most likely a pre-release prototype or promo flat sent in with the disc for photographic reasons. This is quite possibly a complete one-off making this a unique and extremely rare Damned item! Condition - sleeve ex- (has a bit of wear on the corners and a few small creases, disc ex
