Description
Two great raggy sides by Dan and Harvey's Jazz Band, a black American string band co- led by pianist Dan Kildare and drummer Harvey White. They play 'If You Look In Her Eyes' backed with the London Orchestra playing 'Monsieur Beaucaire Waltz' on 12" English Columbia 750. Not only are these Dan and Harvey's Jazz Band sides of outstanding musical and historical interest, being early examples of black American bands in Europe, they are unbelievably difficult to find! Just 2 years later Kildare killed both his wife and her sister, and then shot himself in a crime of passionCONDITION:E-, light scratches, will clean up with a wash.
