7"DANA GILLESPIE - ANDY WARHOL(Yugoslavia-Jugoton-SRCA-88771)

The tune "Andy Warhol" was written by David Bowie especially for Dana Gillespie in 1971, but didn't turn up on vinyl until Dana's 1974 album "Weren't Born A Man". By then, Bowie had already released his own version on the "Hunky Dory" album. Dana Gillespie's superb version which features Mick Ronson on guitar is fairly unknown and EXTREMELY HARD to find on 7", especially this RCA Yugoslavian issue which comes complete with a nice unique picture sleeve!
