DANDY AND AUDREY, I need you, hard to find original UK 1969 stereo LP.

TRLS 17, first UK issue 1969 red and purple ‘Down Town’ stereo record labels.

A hard to find, original 1969 UK stereo issue in original condition, featuring:

1. ‘Dandy and Audrey’ original 1969 UK debut LP,

2. original first issue UK 1969 ‘gate fold’ sleeve made of the period, ‘quality thicker heavier’ card,

3. original first issue UK 1969 first UK red and purple ‘Down Town’ stereo record labels, featuring:

a. ‘deep grooves’ around each of the spindle holes,

b. outer edge record label ‘ridges’,

c. ‘texturued’ record labels,

4. amended UK 1969 ‘stereo’ record matrix of, ‘TRLS 17A’ and ‘TRLS 17B’,

5. comes with its original period plain white inner sleeve.

CONDITION:

THE MAIN SLEEVE: the original ‘gate fold’ sleeve is in excellent condition. The two opening edges of the sleeve have remained clean and sharp. The spine is in near excellent condition and all of the text on the spine is readable. The two opening edges of the sleeve have remained clean and sharp. There are NO tears, splits, pen writing, stickers or sticker residue to the sleeve.

THE INNER SLEEVE: is in excellent condition and is the original period plain  white inner sleeve. Theres NO pen writing, splits, tears, stickers or sticker residue to the inner sleeve.

THE RECORD: side one is in excellent condition. Side two is in excellent+ condition. NOTE - the condition of the ‘playing surfaces’ have been judged under ‘normal daylight’ conditions. The record is made from the period, 1960s thick, heavy vinyl. The condition of the record has remained very dark and glossy.

The records matrix: side one - the records original ‘factory engraved’ matrix of ‘BTL +3’ has been ‘crossed out’ and replaced with the ‘hand etched’ record matrix of, ‘TRLS 17A’. Side two - again, the records original ‘factory engraved’ matrix of ‘BTL +4’ has been ‘crossed out’ and replaced with the ‘hand etched’ record matrix of, ‘TRLS 17B’.

The records ‘mother / stampers’ are:  N/A,

THE AUDIO: side one plays very good, with some ‘crackle’. Side two plays very good+ with some ‘crackle’. The record plays with a full powerful period ‘stereo’ sound. On the outer edge of the record, on tracks one and two, the record does not entirely lay flat on the turntable, the rest of the record lays flat on the turntable.

THE RECORD LABELS: each of the record labels are in near MINT condition. Each of the record labels are free from any pen writing, stickers or sticker residue.

TO GRADE THE CONDITION OF THE RECORD I AM USING THE GRADING SYSTEM BASED UPON THE GUIDE FROM THE UK'S ‘RECORD COLLECTOR’ MAGAZINE.

PACKING  -  ALL RECORDS ARE POSTED WITH MULTI LAYERED CARD STIFFENERS FOR PROTECTION. BEFORE POSTING, THE RECORD IS REMOVED FROM THE RECORDS ORIGINAL INNER AND OUTER SLEEVES, THE RECORD IS THEN PUT INTO A SECOND PAPER INNER SLEEVE TO MINIMISE ANY DAMAGE THAT MAY OCCUR WHILE IN TRANSIT. THE RECORD / SLEEVES ARE THEN PUT INTO A NEW PLASTIC SLEEVE FOR FURTHER PROTECTION.

DISCOUNT WILL BE GIVEN ON POSTAGE FOR MULTIPLE PURCHASES.

IN THE UK – THERE MAYBE AN ADDITIONAL COST FOR POSTAGE / INSURANCE AS THE SELLER HAS NO PROTECTION IF THE ITEM GOES MISSING IN THE POST, THEREFORE POST AND PACKING CHARGES MAY VARY.
