Possibly the rarest Danielle Dax record? Limited to just 100 hand-numbered copies, Invictus Arduis was released in 2022 on beautiful, clear lathe-cut vinyl by the Graham Duff curated UK label Heaven's Lathe, the first recording she had committed to vinyl in over 25 years! With long time collaborator David Knight (UnicaZürn, Shock Headed Peters) she has developed a collection of spoken word pieces, under the title Invictus Arduis. These combine her distinctive voice and inventive texts with Knight's intricate electronic soundscapes.
Recorded in June 2005 during preparations for the 11th International Poetry Festival in Genoa, Italy, this single is, criminally, the only document of this stunning work. In fact this very limited edition single is, to date, the last music to be released as Danielle Dax.
The sleeve, designed by Stephen Thrower (UnicaZürn, Coil, Cyclobe) features a previously unseen portrait painted by Dax herself.
The single was released through Bandcamp and, I recall, sold out in minutes. The page is still there though so to hear some 30 second samples of this wonderfully eerie and dreamlike work, search for Invictus Arduis (and check out the other very collectible releases on Graham's fantastic label while you're there, quite a few have sold out but not all).

The condition of this item is MINT. I have taken it out and looked lovingly at it twice and that's it. The record is unplayed, I just listen to the digital files that came with purchase of the vinyl (which are not included here btw).

These 7 inches are beautifully lathe cut, engineered and designed by "Bladud Flies!" (Michael Lawrence and Lauren Winton). This item will be posted to you in its original mailer just as I got it. Here's what's inside;

Transparent 7” high quality stereo lathe cut vinyl with engraved Heavens Lathe logo.
230gsm sleeve (hand numbered).
Black inner sleeve.
Polylined inner sleeve (housing the record).
PVC protective sleeve.
Bladud Flies! lathe-cut care card.

Will post out by a signed for service (if winning bid amount demands it I will upgrade f.o.c.). There's no reserve on this item but, going on what this item has been sold for on Discogs, and taking into account that the chances of this coming up for auction and time soon are extremely slim, a realistic starting price.
I never end auctions early and that goes doubly for this listing so sorry but no offers please. I'm also putting up two other "sold out" run-of-100 Heaven's Lathe releases for auction (needs must I'm afraid). I'll time all three auctions to finish 20 mins ahead of one another in case you're interested in these great items too.
