Grading: VG+/VG+ (Vinyl plays excellent, has a slight warp that does not effect play.)
Notes: Here's a description of the record from Archivist: "Danny and Lynda. Doesn’t sound like much of a monster album, does it? Looking at the cover you’d expect maybe a traditional gospel sound or something. Well it just so happens that Danny Kimer is a guitarist extraordinaire who clearly has fun with his instrument, cranking out lengthy super-charged spastic turbo hard rock riffs when you least expect them. Add to that Lynda’s dynamic vocals, keyboard bass, organ and moog, and John Hauser on drums and you’ve got... well, a monster! The hard-rocking numbers are the obvious standouts: ‘Show Me One Place’, ‘Keeper Of My Soul’, ‘Sing It Out’ with blistering wah-wah, and the gritty blues rocker ‘God Is Real’. In between are some quieter hymn interpretations, but even these are handled with equal finesse (Danny’s fingers are all over the frets on ‘Just a Closer Walk With Thee’). Pleasantly low-budget sound throughout – the kind that private press collectors dig. The group was based out of Long Island. The group renamed themselves First Revelation for their subsequent albums." -- Ken Scott, Archivist
