Description
This is DANNY GATTON DANNY AND THE FATBOYS American Music LP on Aladdin ALPS-102 Stereo, first and only pressing from 1975. Comes with a receipt when I bought this in 2005 for $68.25. Golmine Record guide calls this The Ebay Effect where some records were more rare and hard to find before Ebay got going. Also has a price sticker for $75 inside the jacket that I probably removed from the outer poly sleeve and reattached it inside the cover.
Grading: a modified Golmine. NM,EX, VG++,VG+, VG, VG-, G+,G, G-, F, P
The COVER VG Cover gets a aVG because of the 5 inch split at the top, near the opening. Also, an 1/8" bottom split at the opening. The orange spine has sun faded to a yellow and has come around the front side almost a quarter inch.. Light shelf wear. Back shows a little ring soiling at the top and bottom. No writing. No bends. There are no delete marks or cut outs. No tape. No corner bumps.
The VINYL VG+ Play graded. The vinyl looksGreat with just a few sleeve scuffs on each side that don't effect play. The same for a wispy hairline on side 2. Just listened to both sides. Sounds NM. Very enjoyable listen. I didn't hear any extraneous noise. No pos ot ticks or crackle between songs. The record grade gets knocked down for some small writing on the side 1 label. Checked the disc for any warping and is flat. Good to buy from sellers who Play grade.
The LABELS VG because of the previous owners name written on the label in ink on side 1, though small. No spindle hole wear. Some spindle trails are visible when the disc is held at an angle under a bright light.
The SLEEVES VG poly lined replacement sleeve
All records will be mailed in sturdy, recycled record specific mailer boxes with extra padding. Discs will be removed from jacket to eliminate splitting caused by transit shifting.
