A fantastic opportunity to get your own top quality ORIGINAL UK copy of Rock N Roll Gold. This brilliant and iconic single by DANNY AND THE JUNIORS 'AT THE HOP' / 'SOMETIMES' from 1957 on the early (Purple and Silver) UK
His Masters Voice (HMV) Label with Original Company Sleeve.
I DON'T VISUALLY GRADE! Many Ebay sellers list vinyl as Mint minus or EX plus suggesting if it looks that grade it will play that grade! Its simply not true. Old vinyl can look Mint and play with constant crackle or look highly scuffed and play without noise. I could describe this as Mint Minus visually but I always PLAYGRADE for honesty.
The single PLAYGRADES in EXCELLENT condition with lovely shiny vinyl just minor scuffs under strong light from taking in and out of the paper sleeve (not affecting play). There is minimal intro noise and the occasional hint of background noise in quieter passages (but that may simply be my modern stylus which doesnt handle mono vinyl well).
The LABELS are CLEAN, BRIGHT AND STUNNING with NO Writing, Stickers or Tears (see pics for condition - light reflections are not vinyl marks)
The Correct Company Sleeve has not fared as well having tape and tears on the rear however I can supply a later HMV sleeve but Im a completionist thats why its in its original sleeve.
These singles tend to come up either in poorer-average condition or at over inflated prices. It isnt massively rare (as many sellers label it as rare) but it is harder to find a quality original UK copy at a reasonable price. Try try finding a copy of this UK release at anywhere near this price in this condition!
