DANNY And THE JUNIORS - very rare EP. Classic vocal group teener doowop. Includes At The Hop and Rock'N'Roll Is Here To Stay. Original USA pressing on ABC Paramount Records (EP-11).
Comes in the plain sleeve. Unfortunately there's no picture cover (my old Goldmine guide lists this at crazy price if complete, over $1000!). Still, with the record, you're halfway there.
Condition: I'm going to give this a VG-. Still has almost all it's gloss; has no deep scratches; nothing feelable. Has many light surface lines. My VG- here doesn't mean it's the same as (or worse then) the trashed records that people grade as 'VG'. This is not trashed, but it's not close to NM either. It's a decent copy of a rare record. If you're a "condition" collector it won't be sufficient, you'll need to upgrade, but in the meantime you will enjoy owning at all and not be disgusted by it!. Okay? It plays great, sounds very nice. I can arrange to play it for you over the phone if you want. Playgrading is subjective, to ME, it plays at least VG+. Bearing in mind that it's an over-50-years-old R&R record I think it's great. Of course, it sounds like a record though.. not pristine like a CD.
Labels are fairly clean but Side 1 has a piece of clear tape at top with some tape residue. Looks very nice though. There's no other stains or writing, stamps, stickers, water damage, etc. on labels or record.
All records are original pressings unless noted. Visually graded, but questionable records are playgraded. NM (Near Mint) is usually my highest grade for 45s. See our Grading info. Labels are NM unless noted; and item has no writing, stamps, stickers, drillholes, or other noteworthy defects unless specifically noted or shown in photos otherwise.
