Description
This is a MINT / UNPLAYED copy of this much sought after UK 7" PUNK period single by DANSETTE DAMAGE on SHOETRING RECORDS - LACE001- "NME" & "THE ONLY SOUND". This is a perfect and original copy of this record, with the blue Shoestring labels on the wrong side of the disc! (NME plays THE ONLY SOUND and Visa versa). It is a MINT copy and still has the original white inner bag inside the picture bag. This copy has the heavy paper sleeve with the better print quality. The record was one of John Peel's favourites and it featured in the TV programme about him and his producer John Walters. He loved it's humour, vitality and the way the band looked - no leather bodage trousers here mate! It is so collectable because it is a genuine 'indie' label effort (the sleeve was glued together by the band!) and yet it is a LED ZEPPELIN collectable, because it was produced by ROBERT PLANT and he helped by singing backing vocals to keep the band in tune! If you listen really hard (& really loud) you can hear him screaming away at the very top end of the fade out to NME! A great fun record and in PERFECT CONDITION. RARE!
