Description
This is a superb example of a very rare record. It is a 7" single by Dantalion's Chariot entitled 'The Madman Running Through The Fields' B/W 'Sun Came Bursting Through My Cloud' on the UK Columbia label from 1967 (catalogue no. DB 8260). It is an original UK pressing. The band includes Andy Summers who went on to play with the Police and the legendary Zoot Money. It is a wonderful piece of psychedelia.
The Columbia paper company sleeve is green and white in colour and is in VG++ condition.
The record itself is in lovely condition considering its age. It has a 4 point centre and has black labels with silver wording. It states in the middle of both labels - 'SOLD IN THE UK SUBJECT TO RESALE PRICE CONDITIONS SEE PRICE LISTS'. On the left side of each label it states - 'JAMARINE MUSIC LTD.' On the right side of each label it states - 'A Rik Gunnell Production'. The labels are in fine condition with minor ring wear on both sides. The record plays really well on both sides with some minor surface noise and the occasional pop and click. There are definitely no jumps or skips. The matrix numers on the run-off grooves are - side one - 7XCA 31626-1 - side two - 7XCA 31627-1. I have graded the record Ex- and believe that this is very fair.
