Super RARE and HIGHLY COLLECTABLE motion picture soundtrack LP album for the cult classic science fiction film DARK STAR — the first film directed by JOHN CARPENTER, who also composed the music. Most of the music here is very impressionistic and other-worldly, but the LP also includes the wonderful spaced-out Country & Western song, “Benson, Arizona”. This album was never released to CD, which makes it all the more desirable.

Condition: The vinyl LP appears to be in FINE/NEAR MINT condition. There are no defects to my eyes. However, I do not own a turntable so I cannot test its playability. The sleeve is in FINE/NEAR MINT condition — very minor edge wear but excellent overall.
