DESCRIPTION
You are bidding on a great example of a VERY RARE original 1966 UK withdrawn DEMO release by DARRELL BANKS on the London American label (HL 10070) "OPEN THE DOOR TO YOUR HEART" b/w "OUR LOVE (IS IN THE POCKET)" 7-inch 45 RPM single with 4-prong push-out centre. In period-correct repro London company sleeve.
This terrific single is in an excellent (EX) condition. Clean, crisp and bright, retaining its original sheen. There are a couple of light surface marks but nothing serious. The labels are nice and clean with no stickers, tears or writing. The numbers 235 & 230 are factory stamped on each side (see scans). The 4-prong push-out centre is fully intact and has no damage. There is one wavy mark around the spindle area but no signs of wear. , The record plays superbly, loud and clear, with just a little run-in and run-out groove surface presence. Nothing to spoil the enjoyment. DEFINITELY NO SKIPS OR JUMPS.
