DARRYL STEWART WAND 11209 (DEMO) NAME IT AND CLAIM IT / CROSS MY HEART disc G   label VG NAME IT AND CLAIM IT - what a great intro... going right into the vocals. Yeah, this one is on Wand, but it coulda stood with the best of anything on Motown!  The sound quality is nice, a bit muffled, I hear pops through the song, but still the record plays through clear, and strong. Although the record is visually graded GOOD, I'd say it plays VERY GOOD to VG-.   Very enjoyable. CROSS MY HEART - the pops are evident in this slower ballad, but still they're buried in the music, not really that discernable.  Remember, I'm LISTENING to the record as I'm writing this. As the song fades, I hear the pops more evidently. Still, it plays VERY GOOD. Suprising due to the low visual grade!  One other thing... I noticed the demo label credits the song as NAME IT AND CLAIN IT.  I dont know if the spelling was corrected on the issue copies or not!     I'm going to list some singles that are below the grades I usually try to deal in, but they're rare enough to warrant attention.  Visually, the grades for several of the singles are low (in the "G" or "good" condition range, which means heavy scuffs and or scratches, very obviously played and stored improperly).  But I DO play grade every record I sell, too. So please, pay attention to BOTH grades.  I've always tried to satisfy my customers by letting them know exactly what I hear when I play a record, BEFORE it's sold. I am only listing what I consider the best, or rarest records.  I have thousands of other titles, though.     Bid on this record with confidence. Yes it is far from perfect, but it does play well enough to warrent my listing it. And no, there are NO skips. This current listing is for ONE record.
