[Item Description] Meister (Immediate post war Electrola (issued under allied control) 15/10/1936)
Das Meister Sextett (former Comedian Harmonists) about 1935.
The new group formed after the jewish members had gone.
The jewish members formed a new group and worked for some time abroad under
the original name of Comedian Harmonists. Once in Holland the two groups sang in the same city.
The Jews abroad were considered as Germans.
They stopped performing in Australia when the war broke out.
The German group had to stop also because the nazis disliked their music.
