TITLE/ARTIST: OK, I am now beginning the "sell-off" alot of my Dave Clark 5 collection - the 45's at least. There are many of them to sell and most all are in great condition - some are even "promo" releases like this one. This promotionally released, "Radio Station Copy", song is by this successful British Invasion group, The Dave Clark 5 - who were arguably the biggest threat to the Beatles' popularity at that time - from back in 1965. This particular "promo" package is on the original "Radio Station Copy", white with black print label - as well as the extremely rare, black and white picture sleeve!! The hit 45 is entitled "Over And Over/I'll Be Your's (My Love)" and, as already mentioned, is in very nice overall condition - especially the vinyl. LABEL INFO: This original, white colored "promo" Epic Label (5-9863) is clean and nice and nearly perfect - in fact, I don't even see any spindle lines around the center circle, which indicates to me very little, if any, actual play. VINYL INFO: Likewise, the vinyl is also extremely shiny, clean and nice with nothing seriously in any need of a mention either - however, there is a super small chip in the very outside edge of one side only. This chip does not effect the actual play of the record and only involves about half of the dead wax area at all (see the pics above). Otherwise, to me the vinyl looks almost as nice as the day it was 1st purchased. PICTURE SLEEVE: The ultra rare and highly collectible, black and white picture sleeve is primarily in very good shape - especially for what it is!! There is a fair amount of wrinkling/creasing in some places and I believe this can all be seen in the pics above - so check them out. But, for the record, this is the only copy of this rare, black and white picture sleeve I have ever seen, so.........please have at it. INTERESTING FACTS: Yes, in my opinion, this rare "PROMO" 45/PS combo is primarily clean and nice, and as always, I have not listed it with any reserve price - just free and open bidding - so good luck! In addition, I will continue to list many other RnR/R&B LP's, EP's, and 45's by 1950-60's artists----and even some C&W LPs/45's, too. I am selling off my entire personal collection, and there are 1000's of more records to list yet -- of all varieties and genres. These are U.S. rates only, and all foreign winners will have to await an email me for their exact costs, although I will send a detailed invoice as soon as the auction is over---but, there too, it is cheaper to send multiple pieces. The charges for overseas are $15.00 for the 1st 45 and then just $3.00 per 45 after that.
