Description
This is a nice copy of the extremely rare 1968 E.P. 'DAVE DAVIES' HITS' by the legendary Kinksman himself. It is (of course) an original 1st pressing on the blue PYE label, cat# NEP 24289. The cover, as I hope you can see from the scans, is certainly Excellent, perhaps Near Mint. The original owner has written his name on the side 1 label, and ALSO on a label - please study the scans below. The label will probably come off OK with the application of lighter fuel and patience. There is very little spindle-marking either side. The vinyl itself has a couple of 'hairline' scratches on side 1, a few more on side 2, causing some 'ticks' and 'clicks' here and there. There is some crackle due to grime in the grooves - this should 'play out' fine or if you have access to a record cleaning machine, that will do the job more quickly. Please note: the white 'flecks' in the scan are due to the scanning process and are not present on the disc. This disc is valued in the UK RARE RECORD PRICE GUIDE 2012 at £300 in Mint.
