REMEMBER TWO THINGS
For the first time ever on vinyl! In November 1993, DMB released its debut album, Remember Two Things, on its own Bama Rags label. Co-produced with John Alagia, the 10-song set is comprised of a mix of live material, acoustic songs with Tim Reynolds and studio recordings. Remember Two Things debuted on the College charts as the highest entry – a significant accomplishment for an independent album – and has subsequently been certified Platinum. This 2LP 180-gram deluxe audiophile release, is cut from new lacquers, prepared by Chris Bellman at Bernie Grundman Mastering, and features the original album packaged in an individually numbered gatefold jacket and featuring a new eight-page booklet with full lyrics and rare and unseen photos of the band. Includes download card featuring the full album and bonus tracks.
BIG WHISKEY AND THE GROOGRUX KING
From 2009, the Platinum-selling Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King was released at a pivotal time for the Dave Matthews Band. After grappling with the death of founding saxophonist LeRoi Moore in 2008, the band carried on and completed their first record in four years. The result is a tribute to Moore, featuring his nickname as the album's title as well as many lyrical allusions to him throughout. This record also sees the band returning to their roots, with a sound more reminiscent of their first three releases and a deliberate absence of the glossy sheen that has permeated their work since the turn of the millennium. Special Edition double vinyl.
AWAY FROM THE WORLD
Originally released in 2012, which the group recorded with Steve Lillywhite, Away From The World is a beautiful mess of pop, rock, jazz, funk, and classical, informed by the world travels of Dave himself. In Dave Matthews' own words, “The most diverse music in the world is in America, ‘cause there’s so many different cultures here, but what tends to be pushed to the top is often a narrow view of what there really is. So maybe (my travels) just gave me a wider pool of listening.” Limited Edition clear double vinyl with album digital download.
