Description
This is of course Davids Bowies CLASSIC 1969 album called "David Bowie" .
I think this album is underestimated in many ways .The album cover itself is a superb piece of rock art , done of course , by Davids friend , George Underwood .The weird back of the album cover art , shows Bowies concept , "The width of a circle" but Philips mistakenly describe it on the albums inside , as being called , "The Depth of a circle" , one reason Bowie was ready for a change of record company , he said Philips Mercury " were a bit tacky". Of course you all know of the spelling mistakes on " The Man Who Sold The World " Bowies next album for the Philips Mercury label , Philips , being the little brother record company of Mercury ! All part of the history if this rare item.
So here it is on the Philips record label , hard as hell to get your hands on .And imposible to find in condition like this ! This album is in PRISTINE CONDITION ! So i have no problem listing this as mint ! The colours on the sleeve are CLEAN and BRIGHT both inside and out with NO UNWANTED HADWRITING ANYWHERE ON THE ITEM AND NO COLOUR FADING AT ALL .
The vinyl is BEAUTIFULLY clean , and i never clean records that im selling , thats the responsibility of the new owner , this item has been loved and well looked after . The vinyl retains a high lustre sheen, prooving lack of use . Record collector , Goldmine and Goldwax the English American and Japanese record valuers (respectively) all say the same thing regarding rareties like this ,if the desired item comes along in better condition than the norm , pay a little extra for it , in time it can only increase in value if the supreme quality is there .
Well here is the quality worth pushing the boat out that little bit further.
You will do well to find a copy in better condition (its 35 years old) .
Not only is this item RARE and in SUPERB CONDITION , but an added bonus is , lets not forget what its all about .... ITS A BLOODY FANTASTIC ALBUM TO BE LOVE AND ENJOYED !!!!
Don`t loose this piece of QUALITY for one increment , this album is a good investment for the future.
