Description
Offered for sale is a set of four 7" vinyl singles by David Bowie, all housed in RCA company sleeves. They are as follows:
John, I'm Only Dancing / Hang On To Yourself. Catalogue number RCA 2263. Solid centre UK release from 1972.
Drive-In Saturday / Round and Round. Catalogue number RCA 2352. Knock-out centre UK release from 1973.
Sorrow / Amsterdam. Catalogue number RCA 2424. USA release from 1973, with wide jukebox centre as originally issued. Comes with a push-out adapter.
Space Oddity / Changes / Velvet Goldmine. Catalogue number RCA 2593. Knock-out centre UK release from 1975.
The records are all in good used condition, especially given their age. All have a few light surface marks and light scratches - 'Sorrow' is definitely the worst for this, and its B side 'Amsterdam' is probably the worst side of the set - but none of these are major and all sides play through fine with no skips or jumps. The labels have a few marks but are generally clean, with minor spindle marks on those with small centres.
All records are housed in original company sleeves. These are all showing their age a bit, with small bits of handwriting, small tears and the occasional grubby mark - the 'Space Oddity' sleeve is probably the worst of the lot. But they are in reasonable condition considering they are 50 years old, and there are no splits in the seams.
All in all, this is a nice set of David Bowie records with plenty of life left in them for a fan.
