All records are graded on a revealing system which is a nice Technics deck fitted with a SME 3009 tonearm, Ortofon cartridge and stylus. They are graded to the 'Record Collector Guidelines', with as much information given as I can on what I hear. Also all photos above are of the exact record you will receive if successful.
This record is in very good+ condition. It must have light spindle marks on the labels but there are none visible as well as no pen marks anywhere, and overall they are in great shape. As for the vinyl itself, both sides have light hairlines and marks visible when tilted into normal light, but nothing remotely deep or sinister. There are more incredibly light wispy lines visible under very bright white light, but again nothing serious. The record has no serious scuffs or blemishes and has a lovely shine.
I play tested the record and it plays really well. It lays really flat and there is next to no movement in the record arm. The sound produced is superb. Its crisp, clear with next to no interference. I noticed a very faint crackle which was just audible for the early parts of track 1 on side 2 but other than this didn't note anything at all. There are no skips, jumps, annoying clicks or any other serious issues. Its was a really enjoyable audio experience, was a play test to savour and I would grade the audio a high excellent.
The iconic gatefold sleeve is in very good+ condition. It has some wear to the edges and corners(pics), but all of these are really strong with no splits, weak areas, and the writing on the spine clearly legible. It is clean and bright but there is some very slight discolouring throughout. The front is in good shape(pics) but does have a few minor indentations and one long scratch which is visible when tilted. The back is also in good shape but has a pen mark along the bottom edge(pic). Inside the gatefold is good but does have 4 scuffs on the four corners where it must have become stuck at some point. There is also a pen mark in the top left hand corner area. So overall it is strong and in good shape but does have a few minor issues.
It contains its original lyrics inner in very good+ condition with no splits, tears or major issues, but some slight fading, creasing and a small scuff.
The record will be packaged in cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent in a brand new protective plastic sleeve, and within 24hrs of receiving payment to ensure swift delivery.
