Sleeve: Near Mint

Shorewood packaging gatefold is in sound condition, without storage wear, ring-wear, vinyl pressure signs. One small area of print to top right adjacent Bowie, there from new.   

Inner Sleeve: Excellent

Thick card lyric sleeve is in sound condition, no splits or creases, some light print rub only.

Inner Sleeve: Excellent

Poly-lined inner is in sound condition some light signs of handling.

Insert: Mint

Long forgotten for years and left untouched inside the gatefold, so no handling signs   

Labels: Excellent to Near Mint

Side one label, clean unmarked, no spindle signs. Side two has the common RCA trapped air, but it is unmarked and has no spindle lines.

Vinyl Visually: Near Mint

Viewing the surfaces under normal light levels, no noticeable marks are evident. Halogen spot-lamp reveals little more than a few extremely fine sleeve wispy lines on both sides.

Audio Quality: Near Mint

Plays throughout with clean sounding audio and without faults. One or two scarcely noticeable static ticks per side, no overplay surface noise or distortion.

The photos within this advertisement are of the record offered for sale. I do not use stock images or previously used photographs.

This record has been checked visually both under normal daylight and under a strong under halogen spot-lamp. Every record I sell has been checked for its audio quality and played through completely on both sides. I check to ensure that they are flat on the rotating turntable.

I grade all records using The Record Collectors grading system, visually grading the vinyl surfaces, labels, inner sleeve and cover, adding a single (+Plus) if I believe the quality is slightly better (- Minus) if slight under.

The Record Collectors Grading System:

MINT: The Record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and extra items are in perfect condition. Records advertised sealed or un-played should be mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra Items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover suffers from folding scuffing of edges, of edges, spine splits, discolouration etc.

I take great care in the dispatch of records and only use strong cruciform packaging. Every record is placed within a new poly-lined inner before its dispatch to you. The vinyl and sleeve are separated to decrease the likelihood of damage to sleeves.

I can offer combine postage for two records for the same cost as sending one. I aim to dispatch the next working day from your payment.
