Description

"Like putting out fire....with gasoline!" Up for grabs is this MEGA RARE David Bowie picture disc of Cat People, the single from the movie. Bowie did a new version on his "Let's Dance" album, with Stevie Ray Vaughn on guitar. This comes from the soundtrack to the movie, which had about three different versions of this song on the soundtrack. This was released in 1982, to promote the movie, which was screened on the last night of the LA Int'l Film Exposition, in California. Only a handful of these were made, so they can fetch up to hundreds of bucks! Record is a 45 RPM, commonly known as a 7" single. Same song on both sides. Disc is in great condition, with only a tiny bit of wear and tear. Holding up well for a record from 1982! Front has a cool picture of a black panther, as in the movie. The back has the film's credits, and says how the movie is "an erotic fantasy about the animal in us all." A rare find, in any condition!
