Description
Up for auction is a nice original copy of the David Bowie album Heroes originally released in the U.S. on RCA Records (AFL1-2522) in 1977.
-Guaranteed original pressing
-Original RCA black labels -First pressing A1/B1 stamps in deadwax
-STERLING mastering stamp in deadwax -Original inner sleeve w/ lyrics
-No UPC/bar code on cover
Note: Many copies being sold on eBay as "original" are actually reissues with a different catalog number from this one: AFL1-2522 is correct original.
Condition: Cover is nice, with only light signs of wear. No ring wear on front or back. No seam splits, but the edges show some light rubbing wear here and there. Corners are lightly rubbed and one is creased (see photos). Still has a nice shine. A well-preserved original.
Grade: Excellent (EX)
Vinyl is in great condition, still has its original glossy shine. No apparent scratches or scuffs, but under a strong light, a couple faint shadow lines show up--not scratches--from taking the vinyl out of paper inner sleeve a few times. Labels are clean, no marks around spindle holes. Looks like this record has been played maybe only once or twice previously. Well preserved original.
