David Bowie ?– "Heroes"

This record is in very good condition. It has spindle marks visible on the labels but no pen marks, stains or scuffs. There is light wear to the centre holes but this is not extreme and they are not loose or overly worn. There is no fading or grubbiness and overall the labels are clean, bright and in good shape.

As for the vinyl itself, both sides are free from serious deep or nasty scratches but there is some light surface lines, sleeve scuffing, mild groove wear and the odd light scratch showing in normal light. These are a sign of use and can be seen but are luckily not really nasty or at all deep. There is also some more wispy lines showing under very bright light. Overall a used record which although not perfect is free of anything really nasty or deep and still has a nice lustre.

I play tested the record and it played well overall with no skips, sticks or loud disruptive clicks but with some interference or light crackling in parts. It also has a small warp to it which causes the arm to move up and down or 'bob' upon playing. This is not extreme or large enough to cause issues to playback but is visually noticeable.

The audio is still enjoyable but is not perfect. There is some surface noise audible in the run in, between tracks and also faintly in some of the quieter parts. None of the surface noise is extreme but it is there and can be heard in places. I noted some in the intro of track 1 before the song 'drops' and then little is audible. I noted no other major issues on side 1 and would grade this side as VG+ audibly. Side 2 also has some light crackling in the intro of track 1 and then 2 quick audible 'hisses' at the beginning of track 2. These are brief but can be heard. There is also some light crackle through tracks 2, 3 and 4, whilst track 5 is excellent.

So overall not a perfect audio experience but one that I still enjoyed and has no really serious issues. I grade on a revealing, good quality system and this did not produce any horrendous issues but also did pick up on some interference. I have tried my best to describe this but as I am sure you can appreciate it is hard to detail everything perfectly so please give some discretion.

The sleeve is in excellent- condition. It has only slight wear and rubbing to the edges and corners with the writing along the spine all still legible. There are no splits or weak areas anywhere and the sleeve remains solid all round. There are no tears, scuffs or pen marks anywhere and no major issues with creasing. There is ring marks showing to each side however and also a few indentations and grubby marks. Overall the sleeve still appears tidy and has no major issues to report. Please study the pictures provided to gain as much information as possible as to its condition.

It will come in a brand new plain white replacement inner as the original was missing.

It includes its original lyrics insert which is in very good+ condition. This has no tears or pen marks but does have some creasing, dents and signs of handling.

The record will be packaged in cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent in a brand new protective plastic sleeve, and within 24hrs of receiving payment to try to ensure a swift delivery.
