DAVID BOWIE - HUNKY DORY

1971 release on VICTOR - SF 8244

This is the very rare first UK pressing of Hunky Dory with the front-laminated Robert Stace sleeve. The labels are shiny and credit Chrysalis/Titanic (not Mainman) and the vinyl has the following first press stamped matrix numbers:

 APRS 5947 3T & APRS 5948 3T

'Bobil' & 'Rasputin' is inscribed into each respective run-out

Complete with original double-sided lyric sheet which is clean and free from rips/tears or any writing or other marks.

 VINYL condition is EX, some very light surface marks when held to light.
LABELS as new.

SLEEVE condition is VG+, front laminate is clean and has no splits or tears. A little light creasing on edges.
Rear of sleeve is clean and bright, no marks or writing. Top of rear sleeve has a thin strip of clear sellotape which could probably be easily removed but I will leave that decision to the buyer as it does not detract too much from the look of the sleeve.

All said this is truly a fine copy of a seriously rare LP.
