Description

A beautiful example of one of the rarest David Bowie albums - the very first UK pressing of Hunky Dory with the ultra rare front laminated sleeve. This fabulous, rarely seen laminated sleeve with no Gem credit on the rear (see photos) houses the earliest possible pressing of what is probably Bowie's best disc featuring glossy orange labels, 3T/3T matrices and Bobil/Rasputin etched into the dead wax. There is hardly a spindle mark to be seen on these gorgeous orange RCA labels - a wonderfully well cared for EX/EX/EX example of this iconic album with unmarked printed inner that you will struggle to better (please note that in my first photo the sleeve is placed on top of its protective polythene sleeve, not within it!).
