I am parting with some of my treasured LPs. Here's a FACTORY SEALED US PRESSING 1983 EMI AMERICA Records copy of DAVID BOWIE'S LETS DANCE. It's an amazing LP, and is amazingly still in it's factory sealed condition. Mastered by the great BOB LUDWIG. There is some small ring wear from the record pressing against the back cover a little bit. It is sealed, and never played. A great opportunity to grab this LP still in it's original sealed condition. This was a huge LP for Bowie, and a comeback of sorts with such a great effort, and subsequent Serious Moonlight tour. He did everything right on this LP, and at a time when so many "classic rock" artists seemed completely lost in the early 80's. It was a new wave of artists that were popular, and too many of the classic rock artists were trying to change with the times, and most of them didn't do it well. Bowie did, and he had the right help. He enlisted Nile Rogers of Chic to co produce, which was genius. He recorded Iggy Pop's great song, China Girl, he had the greatest mastering engineer in Bob Ludwig master the LP, and last but not least... he had Stevie Ray Vaughn on lead guitar. It's one of his most fun, and successful LP's. There can't be many of these around that are still sealed. I love original original pressings because I feel every LP is of it's time and place. The vinyl, and record pressings are all from that moment in time, and no re-pressing or re-mastering will ever make the sound better for me. PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER LPS FOR SALE NOW ON EBAY.
