Genuine original 1971 Mercury label 9-track vinyl LP in the famous ‘Dress Sleeve’ or ‘Drag Cover’ as it is sometimes known.Slight edge wear on textured sleeve as shown on photos, vinyl in excellent condition.

If you are bidding for this item you will no doubt be fully aware of the many points where the counterfeits can differ from the genuine article as on auction here

Here are a couple of the more obvious errors:

* Bowie’s boot goes right to the edge of the sleeve on the fake. There is about a centimetre more sleeve on the original.

* On the label, next to the date 1971 there is a circled R. The genuine label should have a circled P.

This album is the genuine article.
