  DAVID BOWIE - DOLLARS IN DRAG - RARE LP:   This is your chance to bid on this extremely scarce vinyl album by David Bowie and the Spiders from Mars called "DOLLARS IN DRAG - THE 1980 FLOOR SHOW"
    The record features the following tracks:   A1   1984 (5:33) A2   Sorrow (3:06) A3   Everything’s Alright (2:18) A4   Space Oddity (5:22) A5   Supermen (2:39) A6   Hang On To Yourself (3:25) B1   Man In The Middle (4:07) B2   I Can’t Explain (2:06) B3   Time (5:01) B4   Jean Genie (5:53) B5   I Got You Babe (3:20)     Featuring [With] - Marianne Faithfull   Dollars In Drag" was made up of material from Bowie's "1980 Floor Show" and three songs from his Arnold Corns period, "Hang On To Yourself", "Supermen" and "Man In The Middle". "The 1980 Floor Show" was recorded on the 18th, 19th and 20th August 1973, and was broadcast on the 16th November 1973 (US only). It was recorded at The Marquee Club, 90 Wardour Street, Soho, London. 
  This record is a real collectors item & a great reminder of those heady days.

VINYL: Excellent Condition. (Mint for its age)   SLEEVE: The Paste Over Inlay sleeve is in Excellent condition (again Mint for its age) No folds creases or tears. It is one of thne paste over sleeves on a plain white card sleeve. The original plastic/sellophane cover is still intact and in great condition. The back of the sleeve is blank.  

I USE THE RECORD COLLECTOR GRADINGS SYSTEM (ON THE CONSERVATIVE SIDE)  AS FOLLOWS:

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump.
The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.

    These vinyl recordings of early Bowie are now very collectible so get your bid in!   All items are posted within 48 hours of payment...but usually 24!
