Original 1972 pressing of David Bowie's iconic masterpiece.


UK LP Issued in 1972 by RCA Records SF 8287 (LSP 4702).


1st Pressing (No Mainmain Credits) Complete with Printed Inner Sleeve.


Side 1 Matrix Number = BGBS 0864-1E  

Side 2 Matrix Number = BGBS 0865-1E

PRESSED WITH THE FIRST ISSUE RCA ORANGE LABEL WHICH CARRY THE FIRST "Titanic Music / Chrysalis Music" CREDIT (LATER CHANGED TO "MainMan / Chrysalis") 


"Printed in England by Robert Stace" - NO 'MainMan' LOGO ON THE BACK (which is present on all copies printed after December 1972) 


COMPLETE WITH THE ORIGINAL LYRIC INNER SLEEVE.


CONDITION: the cover shows some age related wear, there also a little note written on the back of the cover, on one of the phone box window, that reads "lots of love to my Starman. Love you, Noreen"...(please see photo)

I have played both sides through and the record is completely playable with no jumps just the occasional crackle.

There are a few marks and scratches on the vinyl but doesn't affect quality.
