Description

Ongoing sale of selected items from my personal collection of vinyl and CDs, the vast majority of which have been owned by me from new and have been safely stored in a smoke-free home. I try to describe each item as accurately as possible (vinyl will normally be play-tested) and therefore don't routinely accept returns - but I'm happy to offer a no quibble refund in the unlikely event that significant defects are found which were not called out in the listing.

  • First UK issue of Bowie's classic Space Oddity single
  • I believe this is the 'large centre' variant (as opposed to a copy with the centre pushed out) 
  • Label / catalogue number - Philips BF 1801
  • Complete with original generic Philips paper cover
  • Cheapest on eBay at time of listing! 
Condition notes.... 
  • Both sides sound great throughout - I just detected a couple of isolated pops/clicks and a little light ambient crackle in a couple of places - certainly a strong VG  
  • There is some writing ('Christine' I think) in black ink on both sides, but this isn't too noticeable given the darkness of the label (and with care might be removable)
  • The generic company paper sleeve has a number of creases and is a little age-discoloured but it has no writing, splits or tears
Postage notes.... 
  • Unless the item is new and still sealed I'll remove the record from both the outer sleeve and any printed inner in order to prevent seam splits in transit  
  • UK - I'll combine postage if buying more than one item - please wait for invoice
  • Rest of the world - Please note that I only sell overseas via ebay's Global Shipping Programme, which sets postages rates and does not appear to include the facility to combine p&p costs for multiple purchases. Please don't bid if you're not prepared to accept GSP costs or process - thanks
