David Bowie, Stage.
1978 UK RCA 2 x LP housed in gatefold sleeve, PL 02913(2).
Early pressing with A1/B1/C1/D1 matrix suffixes and STAME/LORDES/HELOWS etched to run-outs.
Visually vinyl is near mint, glossy and unmarked. Spindle activity is minimal. However there is a short hint of low level crackle to the quiet C3 intro. Otherwise the set plays near mint.
Labels are clean and undefaced. Side 2 has a very slight pressing crimp but this is negligible and unobtrusive.
Inners are plain paper, with one unmarked and the other with RCA text. These have no splits but some corner creasing.
External sleeve is as good as one could hope for. Clean and crisp and close to near mint. There is a satisfying creak when the gatefold is opened. The spine is completely undamaged (see photo). Although I have inadvertently cropped the photo rest assured that the tail of the spine looks just as good as the head. There are just two minor half moon linear air pockets to the laminate at centre right of front panel.
