Description
This record is becoming impossibly rare now. It's by David Bowie from 1972 and is entitled 'Starman' B/W 'Suffragette City'. It's pressed on the Uk RCA label (catalogue no. RCA 2199). The important thing about this record is that it has the original black and white flipback picture sleeve which is in fine condition. There is some ring wear on both sides and there is also some wear along the edges. There is a small split along the bottom (one inch = 25mm). This could be repaired. This sleeve is notoriously delicate and it hardly ever turns up in such a good condition. It features the wording 'A GEM PRODUCTION' with a logo on the front and back. The sleeve has been graded VG++. The record plays superbly on both sides with minimal surface noise. The orange labels are in great condition with almost no spindle marks and they have the four point centre. The matrix numbers on the run-off grooves are - side one - BGBS 0904 A2 - side two - AGBS 0905 - The record has been graded Ex.
