Description
On offer here is a VERY rare single indeed (especially in this condition!!!!) called "Space Oddity" by David Bowie and is a UK 1969 EARLIEST 1st pressing on the 1st Press Philips label!!!! The B side is called 'Wild Eyed Boy From Freecloud'. THIS SINGLE IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND AS AN 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING!!!! MOST COPIES OF THIS SINGLE WERE PRESSED WITH NO CENTRE AND ARE VERY COMMON. BUT THIS IS ONE OF THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSINGS WITH A BUILT IN CENTRE!!!! IT IS INCREDIBLY RARE TO FIND THIS SINGLE AS AN 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING WITH CENTRE!!!! THIS IS THE 1969 UK 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS PHILIPS LABEL, AND ITS ORIGINAL COMPANY SLEEVE!!!! THIS SINGLE IS VERY RARE AS AN 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is the ORIGINAL UK Phillips 1st Pressing on the 1st Press 'centred' Philips label and the Cat No is BF 1801. Any fan of David Bowie, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!
The MEGA RARE record labels (with centre) are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO writing, NO wear, and barely ANY spindle marks AT ALL!!!! THIS RECORD HAS CLEARLY BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!! The record is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! Most of these 60s singles had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This record is NOT and has NO scratches, 2 or 3 hairlines, 1 NON sounding surface mark and only a few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ALL OF ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is great to find that the playing of the record is as STUNNING as the visual!!!! It plays with NO jumps, NO sticks, NO hiss and NO crackle!!!! The whole record is click and pop FREE - apart from a few clicks at the beginning of the B side from 1 of the hairlines. There is NO groovewear and NO distortion and this record has AWESOME crystal clear quality sound and clearly hasnt been played much AT ALL!!!! The single must grade Very Good+ if not better!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record comes in its ORIGINAL Company sleeve which is BRILLIANT condition!!!! THIS SINGLE IS EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND AS AN 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING WITH A CENTRE - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
HAVE A LOOK AT MY PICTURES - I DO MY BEST TO SHOW THE RECORD FROM ALL ANGLES AND MAKE THE PICTURES AS CLEAR AS POSSIBLE - THERE IS NOTHING TO HIDE!!!! It really is a great looking record and it is truly rare to find any copies of this RARE single!!!! THIS WILL BE YOUR ONLY CHANCE TO BUY AN ORIGINAL 1969 PHILIPS UK 1ST PRESSING OF "SPACE ODDITY" BY DAVID BOWIE IN GREAT CONDITION!!!!
