A UK album in original condition, featuring:

1. earliest UK 1972 Orange RCA record labels featuring the ‘stereo’ logo,

2. earliest UK 1972 Orange RCA record labels featuring the earliest text of, ‘Titanic / Chrysalis’ publishing credits,

3. earliest ‘factory engraved’ record matrix' of, '1E / 1E',

4. comes with its original UK 490mm x 550mm full size colour poster,

5. comes with its original period 1972 RCA colour, picture / lyric inner sleeve.

CONDITION:

THE OUTER COVER: is in very good++ condition. The spine is in very good++ condition and all of the text is readable on the spine. The two opening edges have remained sharp and clean. There are NO tears on the sleeve. There is a small name written on the front, top left in blue pen and some slight signs of ageing to the lower front of the sleeve.

THE INNER SLEEVE: is in very good condition and is the original UK period 1972 RCA colour picture / lyric inner sleeve. There are NO tears, pen writing on the inner sleeve. There is a split to the centre of each of the side edges and a split to the centre of the bottom edge.

THE POSTER: the original UK full size colour poster is in excellent+ condition and measures 490mm x 550mm. There are NO tears, pen writing, splits, sellotape, blue tack, pin holes on the poster. There is some slight signs of ageing on the rear.

THE RECORD: there is a small ‘mark’ at the very end of track two and just onto the beginning of track three, so I will grade here and being in ‘good’ condition, otherwise the rest of side one is in near excellent condition. Side two, there is a ‘mark’ on track five so I will grade here as being in ‘good’ condition, otherwise the rest of side two is in near excellent condition. The playing surfaces have remained very dark and glossy. The record is made of the period early 1970s quality 'thick heavy' vinyl.

The records ‘factory engraved’ matrix is, side one: BPRS 4501 1E, also the number and letters of ‘A1C’, I think it is are ‘hand engraved’ onto the ‘run off’ groove. Side two: BPRS 4502 1E, also the number and letters of, ‘A1E’, I think it is are ‘hand engraved’ onto the ‘run off’ groove.

THE AUDIO: side one, track one plays with some ‘crackle’. I did hear some ‘ticks’ at the very end of track two and just onto track three, so I will grade the audio here as being ‘good’, overall side one plays with some ‘crackle’, so I will grade the rest of side one as playing very good. Side two, I did hear some ‘ticks’ on track five, about one and a half minutes into the track that lasted for about one minute, so I will grade the audio here as ‘good’. Overall side two plays with some ‘crackle’, so I will grade the rest of side two as playing very good. The record lays flat on the turntable and plays with a good loud powerful ‘stereo’ sound.

THE RECORD LABELS: each of the record labels are in near MINT condition. Each record label is free from any pen writing, stickers or sticker residue.

THE GRADING OF THE RECORD AND SLEEVES ETC IS BASED UPON THE OFFICIAL GRADING SYSTEM FROM THE ‘RECORD COLLECTOR’ MAGAZINE.

Postage and packing.

All records posted to a UK address will be sent 1st class and to be signed for on delivery.

Packing - all records are posted with multi layered card stiffeners for protection. Before posting, the record is removed from the records original inner and outer sleeves, the record is then put into a second inner sleeve to minimise any damage that may occur while in transit.

The record / sleeves are then put into a plastic sleeve for further protection.

Discount will be given on postage for multiple purchases.

In the UK – there maybe an additional cost for insurance as the seller has no protection if the item goes missing in the post, therefore post and packing charges may vary.
