Description

This album was released in Britain in 1971 and almost immediatley withdrawn. I bought the album from a record dealer in London in 1978 and it has remained untouched since. I will grade the album as best as I can but feel free to email me with any questions. The cover is in almost mint condition. There is a very very slight scuff on the top edge although the casual observer wouldnt notice it. The spine is perfectly readable and there is only the very slightest of imprint on the sleeve as to where the record has been, although this is only visible in certain lights and is as good as impossible to see. The reason I point these minor issues is because I myself look for these and appreciate peoples honest descriptions. The vinyl itself is I regard as mint, with only a few light spindle marks to suggest its been played about three times. The actual vinyl is very shiny and clean and to the untrained eye would look brand new. I played it with a brand new needle and it plays perfectly. The cover shows about a centimetre of space between Bowies foot and the edge and the clock is almost in full view plus the miss-spelling of Woodys name on the rear indicates it is 1971 original and not a bootleg. It is one of the best condition drag covers I have seen and as I have two copies this is the reason its up for offer. Take care on searching for originals...one clear sign is a textured sleeve and the fact that Bowies foot is about a centimetre from the edge of the sleeve cover and the clock on the shelf is almost completely visible on the photo (taken at Haddon Hall, 42 Southend Road, Beckenham, Kent) unlike counterfeit copies which have cropped the image.
