Description
This is the very famous original UK 1st press Mercury textured cover for The Man who sold the World by David Bowie.
It is an original from 1971 (NOT the late 1970s fake!), but the record is missing.
The cover is in one piece but has repairs to the bottom seam and spine and a repair to a tear at the opening. The spine text is almost completely worn off and the cover is generally in a well-used condition with creases, especially at the opening and top corner and wear at the edges. BUT it is original.

If I have made a genuine mistake and the item is not as described it can be returned. However, a refund will only be issued for an item that is not as described and which is returned in the original packaging and in the same condition it was sent in. I do not issue partial discounts - you must send the item back to get a refund.
