OF THIS FAKE GERMAN ROUND COVER FORGERY IN CIRCULATION.

Due to this items rarety an excellent forgery exists.

Here`s some info on how to tell the valuable real thing , from this .THE FAKE !
First,the sleeve on the fake is made of very thick card stock twice as thick
as the original. Along the top near the wing tip and all the way across the
back top edge is a sellotape mark but no sellotape. The original they copied this
from must have been ripped so repaired with tape. The typeset on the Original
is much more defined not like this here. The blue label on the Original is
darker and not the light shade we have here on this forgery. The vinyl on the
original is much heavier than this phoney . The matrix number on the fake
is BOLDLY MACHINE STAMPED and not freehand etched as it is here
on this EXCELLENT COUNTERFEIT . That is the usual way to tell the two
appart.
SO REST ASSURED THERE IS YOUR PROOF BEYOND A
SHADDOW OF A DOUBT THIS IS THE PHONEY SO DONT
GO BIDDING £2000 + WAIT FOR A MINT ORIGINAL TO BID
THAT SORT OF MONEY AT.
Having said all that . This does have a value . As a completest collector
I collect IT ALL . And to me this is all part of the David Bowie story . And
I thinkit is very interesting INDEED . And I am not on my own with that.
Just a couple of days ago I was asked by an avid Bowie collector do I have a
copy of the German Round cover Forgery , he needed pictures of it for this new
book he is writing about David Bowie LPs . Well here it is, be my guest and win it.
I HAVE LOVED HAVING THIS IN MY COLLECTION .
I STOOD IT SIDE BY SIDE TO MY RARE MINT ORIGINAL.
I WOULD SHOW PEOPLE THE DIFFERENCES AND ITS
A GREAT TALKING POINT WITH OTHER COLLECTORS.
It is in STUNNING condition. Record and labels are near MINT throughout.
The sleeve is in EXCELLENT condition. And it also sounds very impressive.
