Description
The Man Who Sold the World
(Mercury SR 61325; USA 11/1970)
This is an original 1970 Mercury record with the original cover, (the latter pressings have hand etched matrices and their covers have a different blue printing instead of the flat blue colour on the original covers).
The matrices are machine stamped in the vinyl dead wax area of the record.
The thick cardboard cover is clean and in excellent condition, especially for a record from November 1970. There are no tears on the cover’s sides.
The cover has the correct original blue printing (the blue has come out slightly lighter on the photographs) and has a drill hole in one of the corners. The cover has no ring wear.
The record is in excellent condition.
The paper inner sleeve is showing the most signs of age and has long seam splits at the bottom and sides. There is also a small tear.
Great condition for its age, a nice clean original example.
Please see the photographs for the best description and condition of the cover and record.
I shall post the record by Royal Mail First Class Special Delivery, which will arrive the next day.
I will post worldwide but please contact me for the cost of postage.
Thank you for looking.
