LSP 4816, UK Orange RCA Victor stereo record labels.

A UK album in original condition, featuring:

1. earliest UK orange RCA Victor record labels with the stereo logo,

2. earliest issue ‘machine etched’ record matrix of 1E / 1E,

3. earliest record labels featuring the text, ‘Titanic / Chrysalis’ music publishing credits,

4. each of the record labels feature a more unusual groove seen just around the spindle holes,

5. comes with its original UK poster,

6. comes with its original earliest period printed lyrics inner sleeve.

CONDITION:

THE OUTER COVER: is in excellent condition, the spine is in excellent condition and all of the text on the spine is clear to read. Theres NO pen writing, tears, splits, stickers of sticker residue on the sleeve.

THE INNER SLEEVE: is in excellent condition and is the original UK ‘printed lyrics’ inner sleeve. The inner sleeve is made of the period, quality grade paper with a ‘textured surface’ on the inside. There are NO tears, pen writing, stickers or sticker residue on the inner sleeve. There is a split to one side edge at the centre and a split to the bottom edge at the centre.

THE POSTER: the original UK poster is in excellent condition, the poster measures 410mm x 560mm. There are NO tears, pen writing, blue tack, sellotape, pin holes, stickers or sticker residue on the poster.

THE RECORD: side one is in excellent++ condition, side one has what appears to be a manufacturing ‘flaw’ to the end of track three and on the beginning of track four, see photo. Side two is in excellent++ condition. The record is made of the period 1970s quality 'thick heavy' vinyl. The condition of the playing surfaces have remained very dark and glossy.

The factory engraved record ‘matrix’ is: side one, BPRS 4512 1E, also the numbers / letters of, ‘A2, I think it is, is ‘hand etched’ onto the ‘run off’ groove. Side two, BPRS 4513 1E, also the numbers / letters of, ‘A2’, I think it is, is ‘hand etched’ onto the ‘run off’ groove.

THE AUDIO: side one, in the groove between tracks one and two I did hear a few ‘ticks’. As mentioned there is what appears to be a manufacturing ‘flaw’ at the end of track three and onto track four, this produces a ‘tick’ at the end of track three that lasts for about 30 seconds and onto track four that last for about one minute, otherwise the rest of side one plays very good++ with some ‘pops’ and ‘crackle’ heard here and there. Side two plays overall very good++, with some ‘pops’ and ‘crackle’ heard here and there. The record lays flat on the turntable and plays with a period ‘stereo’ sound.

THE RECORD LABELS: each of the record labels are in excellent++ condition. Each of the record labels are free from any pen writing, stickers or sticker residue.

Postage and packing.

All records posted to a UK address will be sent 1st class and to be signed for on delivery.

Packing - all records are posted with multi layered card stiffeners for protection. Before posting, the record is removed from the records original inner and outer sleeves, the record is then put into a second inner sleeve to minimise any damage that may occur while in transit.

The record / sleeves are then put into a plastic sleeve for further protection.

Discount will be given on postage for multiple purchases.

In the UK – there maybe an additional cost for insurance as the seller has no protection if the item goes missing in the post, therefore post and packing charges may vary.
