Description
David Bowie The Man Who Sold the World 1971 Vinyl Mercury 6338041. Super rare original textured dress cover with black & silver Mercury label with stamped 1Y / 2Y matrices. I believe this to be a Japanese version of the album pressed in 1979, which is still very hard to find, but would not be the original UK version from 1971. This version is very close to the original so please do your own research and let me know if any additional images are needed.
The vinyl itself does have a few surface marks but is quite clean overall. I graded it VG to be conservative but many would likely list as a VG+. The cover has the orignal plastic shrink wrap still on it, so is really clean outside of a crease on back corner (see images). Additional images available upon request.
