Description
Hi, I have for auction a David Bowie record. I don't know much about vinyl, but I'm told this is ultra rare. (THIS IS JUST WHAT IM TOLD, PLEASE DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH). I will be as honest as possible and give as much information as possible.
Title: David Bowie the rise and fall of Ziggy Stardust and the spiders from Mars.
Label & year: Original RCA 8287 (LSP 4702) 1972.
SIDE 1 BGBS 0864 - SIDE 2 BGBS 0865.
The label on the record is orange (some are black). The record is 44 years old and has been used, but I have played it and it plays well...especially for the age. There are a few small marks on both sides, but only surface marks and doesn't effect play. The other thing I have noticed on the actual vinyl, near the label there is some writing, BGBS-0864-6E. Air and BGBS 0865-4E, (I've tried to show this in the photos) I'm not sure if this was put on originally or not. The inner sleeve is the original, but has some damage as follows. A few stains/marks and has a rip/torn at the bottom. The outer sleeve has signs of ageing and a few scuffs.
Thanks for looking.
