Description
Hi, I have for auction a David Bowie record. I don't know much about vinyl, but I'm told this is ultra rare. (THIS IS JUST WHAT IM TOLD, PLEASE DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH). I will be as honest as possible and give as much information as possible.
Title: David Bowie the rise and fall of Ziggy Stardust and the spiders from Mars.
Label & year: Original RCA 8287 (LSP 4702) 1972.
SIDE 1 BGBS 0864 - SIDE 2 BGBS 0865.
The label on the record is orange (some are black). The record is 44 years old and has been used, but I have played it and it plays well...especially for the age. There isn't any obvious marks that I can see. The other thing I have noticed on the actual vinyl, near the label there is some writing, BGBS-0864- A 9s (sf8287) and BGBS 0865 -5E. A2af.. The inner sleeve is the original, but has some damage as follows. Has a rip at the top corner and another small one at the top middle which is shown in photo . The outer sleeve has signs of ageing and a few scuffs as shown in photo. I would say that it's in good condition for its age, I have another record the same for sale, but would say this is in the better condition.
